Stephanie Hodges, Psy.D.

 

Dr. Hodges is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Neuropsychologist who specializes in adult and geriatric populations. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University in 2009 with a specialization in neuropsychology. Following her graduate training, she went on to complete an Internship in Neuropsychology at the North Texas VA Health Care System, followed by two years of specialized Postdoctoral Residency Training in Clinical Neuropsychology at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and the North Texas VA Health Care System. Dr. Hodges has received advanced academic training providing neurocognitive assessments to patients with a wide variety of neurological and psychological diagnoses. Dr. Hodges has been a staff Neuropsychologist with the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg serving Veterans and their families over the past 10 years. Dr. Hodges trains interns and fellows year round in clinical neuropsychology. Her primary research interests include cognitive assessment of neurodegenerative disorders, concussion and movement disorders. She also provides weekly didactics to multidisciplinary staff and trainees on a variety of topics involving neuropathology and neuroanatomy targeting specific regions and circuitry. Currently, she serves as a primary supervisor for interns and fellows within the Neuropsychology Consult Service at Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Dr. Hodges has experience assessing a wide variety of medical, neurologic and psychiatric diagnosis, including: individuals with a history of known or suspected traumatic brain injury, neurodegenerative disorders, normal pressure hydrocephalus, stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, tumor, metabolic disorders, and ADHD.
